Prive Cafe @ Keppel Bay

Went to Prive with bf to celebrate my birthday Sunday evening..

Ordered Jasmine Queen tea since they were using TWG at $5.00

Raspberry banana smoothie $9, the worst combination to me, will never order this ever again...

My plain jane burger with medium rare patty without bun at $21, superbly awesome, and I added $3 for their truffle mayo, which was superbly awesome with the fries and the patty, I "licked" the sauce dish clean...

Seafood marinara at $24, awesomely huge and fresh seafood, but still preferred the version we had at Ice edge cafe at simon road, bf reckons the same too...

My dessert galore, bf allowed me to indulge XD

Alcoholic blackforest cupcake $5.00, the cream on top was -.-, so ridiculously thick like 4cm thick? i sliced the cream in half and ate it, alcohol is really gao gao, cake was moist as well...

Fizzy Dark chocoate Ganache tart at $7.00, was awesome as well, not too sweet, and a surprising fizzle in every bite!

Gula melaka pandan chiffon cake at $6/slice... pretty mediocre, next time i'll just diy cheaper siah, take one slice and pour gula melaka sauce over, no doubt their version was pretty strong in pandan and gula melaka taste...

Overall awesome, will come back again to try their other food, and their grill side.. They are located at;
2 Keppel Bay Vista, Singapore City 098382

TCC @ Centrepoint

I'm a huge fan of TCC, and well though I say that, I only patronize TCC about 5 times in a year, and 2 times are usually settled in my birthday month, due to the superb discounts as a TCC member... XD

My usual melon mangoesteen tea $9 order since i tried it last year... never had such a variety of tea before except at TCC...

Ice apple peach tea $7.80, bf's usual order at TCC, tasted to me more like apple tea then peach tea though, but you get to eat the apple and peach pieces...

Awesome baby crayfish salad $16.80, some spicy mayo paired up with crayfish mayo and the ebiko and some japanese dressing that was sour and appetizing! My new favourite dish at TCC, it used to be their baby crayfish pasta, but now that it is gone from their new menu, i'm like super sad... i keep writing on their feedback forms that I want their baby crayfish pasta back on their menu :(

Creamy mushroom chicken pasta $19, not too jelat, manageable for me, but bf was ok with it...

And when i have enough stomach space, i just have to end it with a dessert! Matcha azuki cake $6.90!

They are located almost every corner of Orchard road, and it really depends on which interiors you prefer, (http://theconnoisseurconcerto.com/boutique/town.html) but I went to the one at;
176 Orchard Road, #01-101-104 Centrepoint , S238843

Wild Honey @ Scotts Sq

Look at the extensive range of brunch, how to choose sia? makes me want to eat everything just by looking at the descriptions!

Everything is just so nice can, even their desserts gave me a hard time choosing...

Opposite table settings at every table..

bf loved their cappucino $6, we even gave a compliment to their awesome staffs for the awesome coffee, we even overheard a table next door giving good feedback on their coffee.. and their staff told us that they actually used common man roasters' coffee bean for their coffee... and I was like no wonder it has a strong and rich aroma..

My usual earl grey $7 didn't ask which brand of tea leaves they used, but it was still awesome... on the menu they mentioned organic sri lanka earl grey though...

Every angle and inch of the restaurant is just so rustic and cosy... love the furnitures and the interiors!

My corsican $20 breakfast that day, wasn't used to the goat cheese taste in my omelette, but I still managed to finish them, love the tomatoes the most -.-

Bf's Scandinavian ($26) breakfast, both bf and I found the rosti really disappointing, they were fried a tad to crispy, and it was so dry, the rosti bits kept poking on the inner walls of ur mouths and kinda had a bad experienc chowing down the rosti... Salmon was juicy and tender, but had a fishy smell. asparagus and tomato was grilled awesomely...

And the highlights! Waited damn long just for them to prepare this dish for me! Freshly prepared awesome apple crumble pie served with good quality vanilla bean ice cream that cost $8.50... I'm telling you this is a must try! Superbly yummy and worth the money...

Though they are slightly pricey, but for what its worth and the awesomely good coffee and service provided, definitely will come back again... They have 2 outlets, but i highly suggest the Scott Sq one, as you can make reservations. They are located at;

333A Orchard Rd, 238897

Banana Leaf Apollo @ Little India Arcade

Went with a few friends to this place a few years back, and have been craving for it ever since..

Awesome huge $4 fresh coconut drink

Chickn biryani set at $9.90, if you wanna save money, then that's the set for you, otherwise their food are served in 1 person portions, and can be pretty pricey depending on what you order...
Otherwise you can order ala carte like what I did to share with my friend, Biryani rice with veg at $3.50 and it is free flow! yes you heard me right, guys sure like it one, endless refill of rice and their two types of vegs, usually cabbage and brinjals...

Left side is prawn masala, look at the gorgeous prawn below, and right side is butter chicken masala.

Well, if you guys don't mind their pretty lousy service due to the fact that you can only place a order with a few specific waiters, as some waiters just serve and do not take orders from you... we called the waiters for nearly 10 times till we managed to get them to take our orders... otherwise the food served here has pretty good quality and taste..

They are located in between tekka market and the verge, at the shophouses at;
Little India Arcade, 48 Serangoon Road #01-32 s217959

MEDZ @ Orchard Central

Most recently, I was at MEDZ with the bf... look at their pretty ornamental lightings, got a booth seat! :)

Got pretty ambitious with my ordering... XD

Bf ordered spaghetti beef bolognese, which was al dente, he finished them..

What most people would usually order at medz or marche.. I got the plain rosti, and how i eat it is usually spam chilli sauce and mix with the sour cream to accompany my every bite... Awesome texture..

Spanish omelette was really just one pax portion, so was the wings... Omelette was so-so, prefer the one i whipped up years back during IS classes at NP.. Wings wise, tasted like the bedok 85 wings, so for the price i paid, it was not worth?

Desserts galore!!! XD

Light and fluffy texture, not too sweet, not too jelat with the cream, but still can't fight au chocolat's fluffiness...

Earl Grey creme brulee! Like i love earl grey ttvm! This was okok? Partially cause the sugar on top was too burnt for my liking, plus the dish was so shallow, the portion of earl grey creme was so meagre...

This meal cost us $80, will only come back for their rosti though, heard service during peak hours is mad bad, cause they are pretty shorthanded... And i recently gotten a taste of their bad service last week... Though their beef kebab was not bad, tender and tasty! I dont think u guys nd address for this place, just located at B2 of orchard central... U guys shld go during non-peak hrs, as their svc was not that bad then...

Thai Table @ Upper Changi

Hey all, a month or two ago I went to the east side to try some thai food, intially thought that there was a Jane Thai restaurant at simpang bedok, but it turns out that it no longer exists, so I went to the one near the Big Eater restaurant, called Thai Table... It was about 12 noon, and the restaurant was pretty much empty, and we were the first occupied table..

This lemongrass drink was just right..

 Thai tea was normal..

 Look at the very inviting thai interior design.. classic and vintage looking..

 Thai mango salad, loved this alot...

 Awesome portion of tom yam seafood soup, we finished this..

 Look at the juicy and succulent mussels!

 Awesome green curry, can just drink the gravy alone lor!

And this order was quite the random, claypot seafood egg tofu, not a thai dish, but was every bit awesome.. don't regret ordering this one..

Usually no space for desserts after all my orders, but it would be a little disappointing if I tried the main dishes at a thai restaurant, and didn't try their desserts right? this red ruby portion was just right, and awesome, the tapioca starch coating wasn't too thick.. I remembered it costs us less than $5 for this cute little portion..

Well, because they are an air-conditioned restaurant, it is priced at tze char prices, but are not those that charge exorbitant prices like Diandin Leluk.. Again, my senile is reacting, cannot remember how much exactly we spent on this, but about $50.. Service was good, prolly cause we were the only table and food came quite fast, nice and cozy ambience, great for families, definitely will come here again if I'm at east side and have thai food cravings..
They are located at;
