Hi All! This is a sushi post again!
And from the photos below, you'll know how shiok these sushis are!
First dish Shiok! Maki Generation 1, lightly fire blasted salmon, top with generous amounts of mayo and tobiko, roasted eel and avocado wrapped within! at $16.80 for 8 pieces, definitely worth every single bite!
Next up! Shiok! Maki Generation 2, pretty much the same as generation 1 except for the tempura prawn that is wrapped within instead of eel... This was "shiokgasmic" as well..
First try with this, foie gras maki, this cost about $25, was so shiok-gasmic, i honestly couldn't decipher the taste of foie gras, prolly cause i havent really tasted foie gras on its own before.. And if you wanna try something new, I'm sure most sushi stores don't have these variant, its their pidan maki! If you love century eggs then you'll definitely love this one! generous portions of century egg and tobiki dollops! Another Shiokgasmic experience!
One of their nicer carbos! Yaki udon at just $10! Why i love this? Generous portions of bonito flakes and eggs, make this dish my absolute favourite, not too salty, not too dry, just my kind of taste..
My must order teppan tofu dish at $6 whenever i visit them, its the sauce that makes me love this dish so much, even my friends love it... Not sure what sauce they use, but sizzling hot agedashi styled tofu with the awesome brown sweet and sour sauce is just heavenly!
That's all, im sure they don't need further reviews to prove how shiokgasmic their food are! I do wish they start to venture on their, like open a full fledge restaurant with a bigger seating area, instead of being squeezed at a corner of food republic... That way they'll be able to serve more customers and provide better service... :) they are located at food republic at wisma atria..
